This nudibranch feeds on ascidians, we will find it typically on Botryllus schlosseri. Its body is covered with small tubercles and all along its body runs a rim from the rhinophores behind the branchial plume and back. The rhinophores are lamellate.
Size
Grows up to 40 mm.
Colour
Often reddish brown but can also be much lighter or even white.
Habitat
Feeds on ascidians such as Botryllus schlosseri and also Botrylloides. Can be found where these ascidians grow.
Distribution
We found this nudibranch in the Adriatic sea near Selce.
