Description
The Chameleon prawn can change it colour very quickly (app. 15 min) to match its habitat. This ability gave him the English name. It has very characteristic bent body and a long straight rostrum.

Size
Maximum length is 32 mm.

Colour
They are highly variable in colour, depending on the habitat it can be yellow, red to bright green. They can also be transparent or speckled. At night they are often green or bluish-green because there is no need for protection in the dark.

Habitat
Has a favour for Mermaids glove but can also be found on weeds or other substrate.

Distribution
East Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
