Description
This nudibranch has a largely translucent body and cerata. Through the translucent cerata you can observe the dark coloured digestive glands. The centre of its back does not have cerata. The oral tentacles are small and difficult to see. The rhinophores are twisted and laminate. It feeds on bryozoans as Bugula plumosa and Bicellariolla ciliata.

Size
Maximum length about 80 mm.

Colour
Translucent body with white spots. The cerata are translucent with blue-white fluorescent tips.

Habitat
From the low water line up to a depth of 40 metre.

Distribution
North eastern Atlantic from Norway to Morocco and western Mediterranean.
