Description
Schizomavella linearis is a bryozoan that forms nice round colonies, with equidistant rings. Due to the hard structure of the cells, it feels like sandpaper. The colony grows along the outer edge.

Size
The colony can grow up to several centimetres in diameter.

Colour
Salmon coloured.

Habitat
Can be found from the sublitorale zone, to great depths.

Distribution
North eastern Atlantic from Norway till Spain and the Mediterranean.
