Description
This species belongs to the familie of Aolidiidae with just like the grey seaslug. It can be identified by the lamellated rhinophores.
The oral tentacles are equal in length as the rhinophores. The cerata are thick and curled with white tips and are arranged in groups on both sides of the body.
Can often be found under rocks and stones in shallow water.
Size
Grows to about 70 mm in length.
Colour
Often brownish, but can vary from green, red to beige.
Habitat
Feeds on several species of anemones like; Anemonia viridis,
Aiptasia mutabilis and Bunodactis verrucosa.
Distribution
Can be found in all tropical and subtropical seas.
