Description
This animal is very similar to Aeolidia papilosa. It has the same colours and feeds on anemones, just like its big brother. They are also often mixed up. Aeolidiella glauca has shorter cerata and the start from the rhinophores backwards. With A. papilosa they already start before the rhinophores. A. glauca has no white spots on its head or back. They feed on anemones and prefers Sagartia species. The spawn is laid in a coiled thread.

Maximum length can be 45 mm.

Colour
Colour can vary from yellowish beige to greyish brown.

Habitat
Lives from the sub littoral zone till depths of 20 metres or more, on hard and soft substrata.

Distribution
In the Grevelingen and Oosterschelde.
