Description
The body is translucent, without pigment speckles. The animal has more cerata then most of the other Cuthona species and they extend along the head. It feed only on Hydractinia echinata.

Size
Maximum length up to 28 mm.

Colour
Translucent body with pink-orange cerata. The rhinophores and cerata have pale white tips.

Habitat
Feeds exclusively on Hydractinia echinata which can be found on the shell of hermit crabs (Pagurus bernhardus) but also on rocks and stones.

Distribution
The few recordings are all from the Oosterschelde.
