Description
Mermaids glove grows in small bush like structures, that occasionally can be branched like fingers, on hard substrata. The excurrent openings are placed in the branches and are clearly visible. These branches can have a round crosscut, but can also be flattened. In places with stronger currents they are often thicker and more flattened.

Size
Typically 300 mm to 450 mm high.

Colour
Yellowish brown to pinkish.

Habitat
From the shallow sub littoral to depths of 125 metres.

Distribution
Common in in both Oosterschelde and Grevelingen.
