Description
This animal consist of an disorderly array of little tubes, attached to hard substrata. The tubes are connected on the bottom side and are branched. The excurrent opening is terminal.

Size
The erect tubes are ± 12 mm long and are 3 mm in diameter. The whole cluster is about 40 mm across.

Colour
Semi transparent to white.

Habitat
Usually in the inter tidal zone or deeper, but always in hidden places.

Distribution
Common in the Grevelingen as well as in the Oosterschelde.
